What a great forecast for opening day. 25 degrees with a gentle North breeze. The forecast for the market looks good too. We are starting with 31 vendors this year. Not bad for small town.
If you came last year you will see a lot of familiar vendors and a few new faces among our family.
Tigchelaars are back with your morning coffee and Laurie is back as Delish Kitch with those great soups and chilies. Your favourite meat pies are back as well at Allison’s. The veggies are also coming back. Nathan at Nith Valley Organics has been busy and will have a great stock of spring greens. Frank has been working his magic in the greenhouse with his hanging plants and will have a great selection of potted plants and flowers. Be careful we now have 2 farmers named Jim. James Warner, the peach man is back and starting with spring greens and very soon the first strawberries. The other farmer Jim will help you stock both your BBQ and your freezer with a great selection of grass fed beef.
For your sweet tooth Pulipop Pastries and Sweet Temptation will both have their artistic and mouthwatering cupcakes on hand. Don’t feel guilty if you give into them.
Looking for breakfast? Look up Lovin Oven. They are expanding beyond pies and treats to feed you morning hunger.
Dave the bread guy and Lucie are also back with their unique and popular breads and montreal bagels.
Rootham’s and From These Roots are bringing back their selection of ‘to die for’ preserves to match any taste.

We also have a selection of fine crafters returning with a different mix of crafters each week.

Whew… and thats not all.. music and smiles and friends…

See you Saturday.
