- Market Helpers
- Becoming a market volunteer is a great way to get a behind the scenes look at the operations side of the market and to get customer service experience! Market helpers play an important role in the success of the market and assist with a range of activities including set-up and tear down, assisting customers and tracking attendance and traffic.
- Book Exchange:
- Book Exchange volunteers are needed on Saturdays from 8am to noon to attend the Free Books stand at the Aberfoyle Farmers’ Market. Volunteers will invite market attendees to take home free books, engage shoppers in friendly conversation and request more donated books for future market days. The volunteers will also set up and store nearby our fold-up table, our sign and our crates of books, using a provided wheeled cart. Only a friendly, warm personality and enthusiasm are required. Having multiple volunteers to share the season of Saturdays will permit us to offer the Free Books stand every Saturday yet accommodate volunteers’ vacations. It’s fun
